JVST production is 100% digital. High resolution PDF files with images at 300 dpi and all fonts embedded are required. All black type must be 100% black and ads must be built out of CMYK. Only PDF and TIFF files can be received. Please send them by email to cdipasca@aip.org. Files larger than 10mb must be sent on CD or via FTP. For instructions on FTP or for further assistance, please contact Chris DiPasca, Sr. Production Manager, at 516-576-2434. Microsoft Word or WordPerfect files are NOT acceptable. Cancellations not accepted after closing date.
 

BANNER ADVERTISING:
Full size banners can be purchased on both JVST Online and the AVS Online Buyer's Guide and Technical Resources. Purchased banner ads will rotate throughout each site for a period of one year. Reports on impressions, clicks and click through rates will be available upon request. New banner files may be inserted at your discretion.

Rates: $3,040 per year for each site; $5,180 for both
File Specifications: 468 X 60 pixels in .gif, jpeg, html or flash file up to 20 kilobytes.


CLOSING DATES:

Issued the 15th of every month. Forms close the 1st of preceding month for orders and set copy. Printing material is due the 5th of month preceding.


CONDITIONS:

Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology reserves the right to decline any advertisement.

Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology
will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage occasioned by the failure of any advertisement to appear for any cause whatsoever, nor does it accept liability for errors in any advertisement published. Conditions applying to an order should be incorporated in the order.

In the event copy instructions are not received by the copy deadline, Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology reserves the right to repeat the copy last used. Late delivery of material after final copy deadline may result in forfeiture of the space booked at full cost.

Copy matter must conform to Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology published requirements; a charge will be incurred for any additional work involved.
