Got an idea for a Topical Conference? Consider the many benefits of AVS sponsorship!

AVS sponsors many topical conferences each year that are of interest to AVS membership. AVS Topical Conferences are conferences with a focused, well defined subject, a sufficient number of invited speakers to define the subject, no concurrent sessions, and a one-day minimum length. The subject matter and level of presentation should make the conference one of national, as opposed to local, interest. The benefits of AVS sponsorship include-

Publicity
AVS-sponsored topical conferences benefit from publicity in the AVS Newsletter and on the AVS Website. Upon approval, your conference will automatically be listed in the Meetings Calendar section of the Newsletter and on the AVS online Meetings Calendar.

Publication
AVS-sponsored topical conferences have the opportunity to publish peer-reviewed conference articles bundled together in a single issue of the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology (JVST).

AVS offers professional conference management services, including site selection, contract negotiation, publicity, registration, and more. Check out the complete list of conference management services and select as many as you need to ensure the success of the program.

In order to better serve its members, AVS sponsorship comes with a few requirements. AVS requests that sponsored conferences submit both a written report and attendee list within one month following the conference and that AVS literature be displayed at the conference. Your conference report will be published in the AVS Newsletter and perhaps on our website-providing you additional exposure for your meeting.
