Texas Chapter AVS

Advancing the Science and Technology of Materials, Interfaces, and Processing

About the Chapter

The Texas Chapter of AVS was newly reformed in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Area in April 2011 after a survey of AVS members living in Texas. Three people were chosen to help lead this effort: Amy Walker (University of Texas at Dallas), John Randall (Zyvex) and Bill Mays.

The mission of the Texas Chapter of the AVS is to provide a forum for research and education in the preparation, characterization, modification, and utilization of surfaces and interfaces for researchers and the wider scientific community in the state of Texas.

If you have any suggestions for activities or would like to volunteer for the Texas Chapter, please contact Amy Walker (amy.walker@utdallas.edu)
