The Electronic Materials and Photonics Division presents three awards annually at the International Symposium: student travel award, the student poster/presentation award, and the postdoc travel award.
Student Travel Award
Student Travel Award: is given annually to graduate and undergraduate students who have an accepted abstract AND will be presenting in an EMPD session at the International Symposium.

Student Poster/Presentation Award
Student Poster/Presentation Award is given at the annual AVS International Symposium and Exhibition. All abstracts, both poster and oral, submitted to an EMPD session will be automatically considered.

Postdoc Travel Award
Postdoctoral Travel Award is given annually to postdoctoral fellows who have an accepted abstract AND will be presenting an EMPD presentation at the International Symposium.
